A major beverage manufacturer had recently launched a new product and needed to quickly increase penetration among their target market to establish dominant market share. They had a daunting task given a limited budget and manufacturing limitations. KGC paired the beverage company with another powerful, non-competitive brand that had extensive reach into the beverage company’s desired audience. Together, they created an in-pack program that increased both brands’ distribution, customer trial and retail in-store merchandising. Sell-through was 100% and the beverage manufacturer successfully captured double-digit share!! Additional program perks included the combined retail sell-in power these two brands enjoyed which increased their real estate in-store (in 2 aisles versus 1) and the benefit of utilizing the partner’s established manufacturing center to create the custom packaging for the program.
